When I started Organize Your Family History in 2012, the home page contained full posts, four to a screen. Without clicking, you could read the four most recent blog posts. You could click back, one screen at a time, and read four posts at a time.
Last September, I changed it to post excerpts. When you land on the home page, you can see the first paragraph of the six most recent posts, but you have to click on the header of each one to read the whole post.
I’ve been thinking about it and I can’t decide which is better, excerpts or full posts. So I thought I’d ask you, the readers, to weigh in. I created a simple poll and I’m hoping you’ll take a second to let me know your preference.
Thanks in advance expressing your opinion!
The majority of those expressing an opinion favored full posts, so I’ve changed the settings. Thank you!

FYI – I read your blog via feedly reader. Only the excerpt is displayed in the reader. To read the full post, I have to click on the title link which then opens a new window on your site. It’s just a few extra clicks.

Victor, thank you for taking the time to let me know how you read the blog. I can see that for you (and probably others who read through an RSS feed), this question is moot.

Hi Janine, Makes no difference to me, as I get an excerpt (via Feedburner??) as well. Interestingly though, I’ve never used your tags to search for posts. Must do that.
Cheers

Thanks, John! Let me know if you find the tags useful. I hope you do! You can also look at posts sorted by category.
